Our first *blind* date

After several weeks of phone dates Joseph and Laura set an in person date. They meet at "El Cantinero" Mexican restaurant in Manhattan's Union Square. They consume tremendous amounts of chips and salsa, and because their conversation is so enthralling, they never get around to actually ordering food. They speak for hours. They decide to take a walk before they end the night. They walk for quite some time, and after more wonderful conversation they realize that it is almost midnight! Their first date is a success, and both Joseph and Laura are thankful that Danielle Rios got her Cupid on and introduced them to each other.

Cross country road trip!

Joseph and Laura hop in a car and drive almost clear across the United States of America. They make their way down south for several days and end up in the Great City of New Orleans. There they get rained on and have the world's greatest Bloody Mary. They eat great food at Cafe Du Monde and thoroughly enjoy their stay in the Big Easy. Their trip continued as they made their way north, through Graceland, to their penultimate destination Paducah, Kentucky. After two weeks on the road, Joseph and Laura ended their trip with a visit to Niagara Falls. Their two weeks on the road solidified their mutual desire to see the country and the world.

Trip to Prague

Europe at last! Amazing food and drink fuel Joseph and Laura as they walk many miles through the cobblestone streets of Prague. For days on end they explore and enjoy the beauty of several European cities. It is here that Joseph and Laura decide that they want to continue to explore and try new things, their "explorer" bond continues to flourish.

Vermont!

On a whim Joseph and Laura decide to visit a property they see for sale in close proximity to an AirBnb they are staying at on another road trip. They both immediately fall in love with the this property and decide to make an offer to purchase it. There is much work to be done, however they are willing and excited to begin. And so their latest and most rewarding adventure begins, building from the ground up a new life for themselves in the great state of Vermont. Both Joseph and Laura are believers in sustainability, kindness and understanding and they both find those things in Vermont. They are currently continuing to build their property and dreams. They are still explorers, and they are still both very much in love.
